Hawker Hunter Mk3 WB188 flown by squadron leader Neville Duke DSO DFC. The Hunter was painted overall gloss red and modified for an attempt on the World Abolute Speed Record. It achieved a new record of 727.63 MPH on the 7th September 1953.
